I saw an ad for a film called Cedar Rapids. The film features the big hunk of man that is Isiah Whitlock Jr.
The only question on my mind regarding this movie: will there be a sheeeeeeeeit? If not, why not? If so, how many? You need at least three. Show one of them in the trailer to get people excited. All of this should be common sense.
The best movie of 2010 that was actually from 1999 has to be Soccer Dog: The Movie. That ‘The Movie’ part is tacked onto the end to make sure people know that the movie they are going to see is really a movie, and not some sort of book or something. According to Wikipedia, the story is about a dog who has an uncanny ability to play soccer. My choice for the lead role would probably have been Soccer the Dog, who, with such a name, was clearly born to play this part. They went with some unknown dog in the end. To be fair to him/her, he/she made the part his/her own. The sequel came out in 2004, and was titled Soccer Dog: European Cup. The sequel is about the dog from the first film who has been reclaimed by his real owners and taken to Europe to play in the championship, which he eventually wins. Soccer Dog: The Movie has a rating of 2.7 on IMDB, while the sequel has a rating of 3.8. The two movies are kind of the same movie, so by adding those two ratings together, you get an overall rating of 6.5, putting the film ahead of Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, a film that also had a colon in the title. Three out of five.
Although, Just Like Heaven is on RTÉ One right now, and FMFRY can’t be any worse than that trash. Watching a Reese Witherspoon rom-com is somewhere along the lines of rape, I suppose. I must ring Martin Cullen and get his opinion.
It’s from the director of Jesus Christ: Serial Rapist, Rape is a Circle and Breaking Her Will. Hmmm..
This film looks like it could possibly be the greatest film of all time:

I really have to see this movie; I’m fascinated by the thought of two all-time greats like Patrick Bergin and the guy from ER sharing screen time. Patrick Bergin is in his twilight years now and doesn’t have to prove anything to anybody, his record speaks for itself:
I suppose a major problem with having Patrick Bergin in your film is that a lot of younger actors are not able to disconnect from the hype and legend of the man. This ‘Marlon Brando’ effect means that it can be hard to get a productive or creative atmosphere: little wonder when the actors are so intimidated.
For this reason, Patrick Bergin does his scenes alone in front of a green screen and is inserted into the movie afterwards.
