The manner in which the UK and IE Metros report the death of Michael Jackson on their covers is very different this morning.
Note Metro UK’s clever use of a photo of Jacko wearing a crown, on a throne. This is to accompany the headline, ‘King of Pop is Dead.’ I might remind you, of course, that Michael Jackson was often called the ‘King of Pop’ by media and you may infer therefore that the terrifying mentalist is indeed dead.
You know, just in case you thought that the King of some Middle Eastern country called Pop had died.
Look also at the little Twitter obituaries from Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry, or as I like to call them, stupid American pop bores number one and two.
Miley was on the toilet when she learned the dreadful news and uploaded her reaction very swiftly to her Twitter account. So at that point in time, you had a shithead, shitting, using a shit service to upload inane shit about theĀ shitty death of another shit crazy popstar.
Shit.
The Irish cover is a bit more serious, but they get the job done.
Oh, and Farrah Fawcett is dead too.
