The 2nd video won’t play. It says it’s private.

Ouch, that was a skewering! Heard about that today, so thanks for posting it. Thought it was going to be Tear’n Huff at one stage there!

I thought he was going to cry at one stage.

Just imagine what a more competent interviewer could have done to Cuff! Flesh would have dripped from his bones, like fat oozing from a spitted pig.

  5. The Brian Jonestown Christian Miracle says:

This was outstanding stuff alright, a massive step up from blueshirt orgy two nights earlier when Vincent looked like he wanted to escape out the window.

You can debate the merits of Vincent’s constant exasperation with the political class but my God he is some entertainer.

Cuffe: Vincent you are using very strong language here, words like “falsehoods” and “Dececption”
Vincent: and “Con-job” don’t forget that one

This Cuffe character must not own a television because he seemed totally stunned by the frontal assault undertaken by Vincent. It was real rabbit in the headlights stuff. Now I haven’t personally succumbed to the collective national distaste for everything Green that is sweeping the country lately, but I couldn’t deny loving every second of this.

While Vincenzo doesn’t have an approach to interviewing that can be described as particularly clinical, he does succeed in bursting the bubble of oblivion that most of these guys seem to live in. Yes he is occasionally out-manoeuvred but for every night that happens there are the glorious nights where he bulldozes through the bullshit like a man possessed.

In general, I will put up with Vincent’s often excessively belligerent style because in contrast to the sickening smugfests that pass for interviews when Pat Kenny*, George ‘the right’ Hook, or heaven preserve us Ryan Tubridy are in the chair, in contrast to these I actually believe Vincent gives a shit. And I will take the honest political commentator over the polished one any day.

*the obvious exception being when filthy union swine or similarly scapegoated and therefore easy targets are the objects of interrogation.

    Jesus. Cuffe is an embarrassment.
