Say it Properly

There’s a certain peculiarity of Irish speech that I’ve been noticing increasingly of late. I’m not really sure if it’s something that has been around a long time, but I have only really become aware of it in the past few years. I’m talking of course about ‘I s’pose’.
Politicians, presenters, the man on the street: they all say it. And it’s annoying. Especially in the political arena, i.e. “I s’pose the real issue here…” or “I ’spose what we must remember…”.
Can everybody just stop it, seriously.
