“It’s not council policy to deal with alleged paranormal activities”
“Laura strongly rejects any suggestion her claims are all part of an elaborate scam so as the council will transfer her to another home and is more than willing to take a lie detector to back up her story.”

Just checked that out. Funny stuff!
Urgh…It makes my brain hurt it really does…
more shameless skangers
These people are not fabricating the story. I’m sure they could find easier ways to get rehoused or move rather than drawing this level of stress and public intrusion into their lives. To that disbelieving neighbour I’d say, just because you have little awareness of these things, it is more common that you would think! Just because your mind is closed to accepting what is beyond your understanding does not mean that these people are not under considerable stress, not helped by neighbours who are unneighbourly, accusing them of telling lies, and who should be showing some compassion to this displaced pregnant woman and her family.
It’s utter nonsense, and muppets like that couple have no shame. Barefaced liars. Funny how people like yourself never require any sort of proof whatsoever for anything you want to be true. You just state it’s true, and that’s apparently a fact. Go on out of it.
I agree with you BMD. Ok…for the sake of argument let’s say they are not making it up and that there is some bizarre stuff going on. Just because you can’t explain it does not mean that it must be supernatural. Filling in the gaps of your knowledge with any old cock and bull will get you nowhere. You say that they would not want the public intrusion just to get rehoused. Well I would hazard a guess that their aim is not to get rehoused but the money the potential tabloid articles could generate…plus, if all goes to plan, a book deal or crap documentary on TV3 (or Channel 4 if you’re lucky enough).
Now which is more likely? That these people are out for a bit of self publicity and money or that their house is haunted and that the ghosts of the dead have nothing better to do than move the furniture and slam the doors. The rational person would say the former while the irrational person, so desperate to believe in something that traditional religion doesn’t provide for them anymore, would say the latter.
Does a rational conclusion really mean that we are unable to understand…or that these people are out for themselves?
ye are slow like i doubt ur one 7 months pregnant cud b boderd wit aloada bull like movin 2 her mams after jus redecorating da house dats jus thick. n dey wudnt hav da brains ta think up a plan bout documentaries n all dat sht id say dey hav more on der minds like der 5 yr old son getn dragged outa da bed!!! jus cuz dats wat ye wud all be thinkin bout jus goes ta show wat kinda people ye are dont judge every1 by ur own standards. muppets!
Slow? Says the person who can’t spell or construct a sentence. I can’t read most of your text-speak diarrhoea. You don’t need brains to tell a few lies for publicity. I hope they aren’t dragging their child out of bed, they might hurt him.
‘watever’ – Your wonderfully crafted argument was so convincing that I now believe that they are actually being haunted. It is the only logical explanation after all! It’s inconvenient therefore it must be supernatural. How dumb was I to think that looking for a rational explanation was a sensible thing to do. Clearly I am a moron. Obviously I am judging them by my own crafty money making scheming standards. You have found me out. I make my living out of making false haunting claims and getting articles written about me. My job is just a cover for my real purpose…scams!
