I actually liked some of his early work in stuff like ‘Platoon’, and even some of his comedy stuff, like the ‘Top Gun’ piss-take.
But his ’2 and a half men’ sitcom is indescribably bad; twice as shit as ‘Will and Grace’, or ‘Vicar of Dibley’ if such things are possible…
Anyway he could do himself a favour by getting his adenoids removed, to distinguish himself from the similar nasally-blocked drawl of Nicholas Cage. They both sound like they have permanent sinus issues.
I like some of his older work too, and I had noticed how his voice is all fucked up these days. I think it’s funny how most of the characters he plays are laid back, likeable buffoons, while in real life he seems to have quite a temper. I imagine he puts cocaine up his bum every night of the week.
