I had to laugh last night. I was standing at the bus stop and this middle aged man was walking by and all of a sudden stops and turns to everyone at the bus stop and starts screaming at the top of his lungs:

"I'M AS REAL AS BEETHOVEN!!!"

Over and over again. Most people were quite taken aback. I was almost going to thank him for providing entertainment during an otherwise dull wait for the bus.

It's very comforting to know that there are people far more insane and unstable than you are. I regularly get weirdos talking to me on the street, and it always makes me feel a bit better about my own mental problems.

And I thought I was fucked up because I have taken to making up stories about myself when I go out. Whenever I meet anyone it's easier to make stuff up than explain where I'm from and what I actually do. On Saturday night, I was "Esmerelda" who worked as a ghost writer for a publishing company. My last great work was Cecelia Ahern's novel PS I Love You. It had to be that one because I don't know the names of any others.
I think some people actually believed me. I thought I was weird. After reading the above I realise that I am not, in fact, one of the world's last true crazies after all. Hurrah.
