..is a strange business. Certain personalities in the game have a propensity for using words that are extremely questionable or don’t exist. Lawing? lawing? It’s a frustrating game, nothing beats playing against an actual person.
Randall loves to use slang words such as lez and seems to think that nigger is also acceptable.
The Big Bang Festival was happening in Dublin over the weekend. Its great to see these small events popping up, even when there seems to be feck all money. One cannot live on Oxegen alone. Which, incidentally, is a rip off and something I did not attend. I’m not going to go into the details of how much we are disemboweled by the biggy fests .. it shows in the ticket sales. It is no longer possible to donate organs to afford a weekend which most likely will leave you bankrupt.
Sliabh an Iarainn , the Life Festival, Mantua and knockanStockan are a few of the small music festivals which have popped up around Ireland in the past few years, a chance to keep things intimate and not break the bank. Check them out sometime.
Back to the Big Bang Festival..it was on for three days and finished yesterday. If I had money I would have loved to have gone to some of the djembe workshops that were available. Luckily they had a very entertaining event which most importantly was free, in the Meeting House Square in Temple Bar last night. Lots of drums and beats, with Capoeira dancers, samba and RIDDIM.
